Job title: Presales Engineer (Сzech Republic)
Presales Engineer (PE) is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for Kaspersky Lab products. The PE must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. She/he must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. In addition, the PE must have the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exemplary pre-sales technical presentations, demonstrations, and consultations to Kaspersky small/medium/enterprise customers, partners, value-added resellers and large account resellers
- Manage WebEx and conference call discussions
- Demonstrate feasibility of Kaspersky products solutions during the qualifying process, confirm the products meet the prospect's requirements, and assist sales in technical qualification
- Provide technical support for sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer consultations ensuring Kaspersky solutions are functioning according to specifications
- Up to 50% travel required
Required Skills:
- Requires a BS degree or equivalent experience in computer applications
- Previous experience within deployment, network management, security, managing a distributed environment supporting disparate systems and/or providing Pre-Sales support in an equivalent environment is required
- Strong working knowledge of the following security technologies (Anti-Virus, Malware Detection, IDS/IPS, Firewalls)
- 5+ years of related technical experience, installing, designing, managing, administering and supporting an enterprise network
- Expertise with Network Administration and Management, Network Performance Monitoring and Analysis
- Extensive knowledge of Enterprise Anti Virus solutions or Network Security & Encryption solutions
- Previous Presales Engineering / System Administrating experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of competitor products, all potential applications is preferred
- Ability to understand and explain related technical issues
